Singer Capital Markets appoints Gareth Henderson head of trading

Investment banking firm Singer Capital Markets has appointed Gareth Henderson its new head of trading.

Henderson has been head of market making at Singer Capital Markets since joining the firm in 2020 and will now be responsible for all of the firm’s equity and fixed income trading activities.

Commenting on Henderson’s appointment, Steve Pearce, CEO at Singer Capital Markets, said: “Trading is core to Singer’s DNA and we continue to invest in this part of our business. Gareth has made a big impact since joining almost four years ago and under his leadership we’re confident we can take this business to the next level.”

Henderson started his market making career in 1998 at Winterflood Securities where he specialised in Aim and Small Cap companies. He spent more than 20 years at the firm before moving to Singer in January 2020.
