Janus Henderson has revealed exclusively to BEST EXECUTION that Glen Pattison will replace Richard Worrell as head of EMEA equity trading, starting 1 December 2023.
Pattison, who is based in London, will report to Dan Royal, global head of equity trading at the firm. He is one of six Janus Henderson equity traders in EMEA, a team that is supported by an additional 10 traders globally.
With over 20 years’ industry experience, Pattison joined Janus Henderson in 2018 as a senior equity trader, prior to which he spent 11 years at Instinet.
“We have an exceptional trading team here at Janus Henderson with plenty of talent to draw from,” said Royal.
“Glen’s appointment to EMEA head of equity trading is testament to his outstanding capabilities as a trader and illustrates the remarkable talent we have at our firm. As a firm we are dedicated to developing our people and providing opportunities for career progression. I am confident that Glen’s extensive experience coupled with the significant professional breadth of the EMEA trading team will ensure a seamless transition and ensure that we continue to deliver for our clients”.
Pattison replaces Richard Worrell, who will join the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as head of secondary markets sales and business development from January 2024.
