Markets Media Group’s fourth annual Women in Finance Asia Awards program will be available for viewing on Friday, May 27, at 10:00 am Hong Kong time.

There will be 24 awards presented to some of the most dynamic and accomplished women in the Asia’s financial industry. Clare Witts, Director, Head of APAC Market Structure at Credit Suisse will emcee the program; Rachel Lord, Senior Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific at BlackRock, will deliver keynote remarks.
As with other Markets Media Group awards programs, the WIFAA program recognizes the most talented and accomplished women in multiple categories across the business of finance: buy-side and sell-side trading desks, institutional investors, wealth managers, securities exchanges, technology providers, corporate finance, venture capital firms, and fintech start-ups. Nominees are put forth by readers of GlobalTrading and MarketsMedia, and shortlists and winners are determined by the editorial staffs of the two platforms, in conjunction with the WIFAA Advisory Board.
Last year’s WIFAA winners included Joanna Kwok of JP Morgan Asset Management for Excellence in Asset Management; Debra Lim of Instinet for CEO of the Year; Felicity Chan of Credit Suisse for Trailblazer; Yvonne Tsui of Citadel for Excellence in Leadership; and Deborah Ho of BlackRock for Lifetime Achievement.
Our methodology in selecting nominees and then winners for Women in Finance is simple yet thorough, and keeps the focus on the important opinions: those of market participants, not ours.
Please stay tuned for the full list of winners, which will be published on GlobalTrading on May 27, as well as a special Q&A with WIFAA winners that will be published in the Q2 issue of GlobalTrading Journal.
