UK-based Jupiter Asset Management announced it had hired 24-year industry veteran Adam Phua as head of Asian institutional. Based in Hong Kong, he oversees the development and strengthening of Jupiter’s relationships with investment consultants and its prospective institutional clients across the Asia Pacific region. He reports to Peter Swarbreck, Head of Asia Pacific.
Prior to joining Jupiter, Adam was at Allianz Global Investors, where his most recent role was Managing Director and Head of International Institutional Sales in Asia. Phua brings with him an in-depth understanding of the needs of institutional investors across the region and a wealth of on-the-ground experience which will assist Jupiter in formulating and deploying its plans with institutional investors in the Asia Pacific region and the firm’s business at large.

Phua is one of three new institutional regional heads at Jupiter; the others being in the US and in the UK to lead the firm’s efforts in these jurisdictions.
Jupiter has been active in APAC for more than 10 years, with its activities conducted from its Hong Kong and Singapore offices.
