AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) have appointed Thomas Coudert as head of sustainability, core investments, with responsibility for overseeing sustainability across the core investment platform.
In his new role, Coudert will oversee sustainability across the firm’s core investment platform (fixed income, equity, multi-asset and exchange traded funds) while retaining his portfolio management responsibilities, including running the Axa Euro Credit fund.
Based in Paris, Coudert will report to global head of fixed income and Axa IM management board member Marion le Morhedec.
Le Morhedec said, ‘Thomas will notably be working closely with investment teams across the core business unit to foster global coordination on ESG topics.’
Coudert takes on the new role after 17 years at AXA IM, most recently serving as head of fixed income sustainability.
In this role he pushed ESG integration principles within the company’s fixed income division and also provided oversight for sustainable investing-related projects and activities.
He joined AXA IM’s European credit team in 2007 and has managed credit portfolios since 2009, and will retain his portfolio management responsibilities alongside his new position.
