Clearwater Analytics is set to launch Clearwater-GPT, allowing asset managers and institutional investors to “talk” to their data.
Clearwater-GPT will allow investors to access their data through interactive prompts and utilise accurate and tailored AI-generated content to grow their assets under management.
Speaking to Best Execution, Clearwater Analytics CEO Sandeep Sahai said the new tool could help best execution requirements for traders thanks to the insights it provides based on data derived from generative AI. “Since the acquisition of Jump Technologies, Clearwater has strengthened its front office offering alongside its existing performance modules.
The offering, which the firm claims is the world’s first generative AI technology for investment management, will be available to select customers during H2 2023.
The generative AI technology is just the first of many potential generative AI-based applications that leverage the firm’s data processing capabilities, Clearwater said.
“We have entered a new era in the field of investment management, where for the first time, you will be able to glean intelligence from your portfolio data in ways that weren’t possible before,” Sahai said, announcing the tool.
Clients will gain insights and performance comparisons throughout the full investment lifecycle, allowing them to understand how their portfolios measure up against their peers with similar AUM sizes and investment styles.
Clients will also receive proactive information about their investments covering both public securities and private market investments within the context of their own portfolios.
The implementation and service teams at Clearwater plan to use Clearwater-GPT to expedite client onboarding. The tool will also aim to increase the percentage of auto-reconciliation meaningfully and deliver on intraday reconciliation processing.
