D.A. Davidson has named Burton Vance and Matt Michalski both as managing director, institutional sales by the firm’s equity capital markets group.
The appointments bring the number of senior hires to D.A. Davidson’s institutional equities team in 2023 to six.
Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Vance joins D.A. Davidson after 29 years with Truist on the institutional equities team, most recently as managing director, equity sales.
Based in Boston, Michalski has more than 23 years of institutional equity sales experience with Truist and its predecessor, Robinson Humphries, most recently as director.
