Degroof Petercam has named Robin Podevyn head of buy side equity dealing.
Podevyn joined the firm in 2000 as an equity dealer at Bank Degroof, handling equity execution services for institutional clients, a role he held for 14 years.
In 2015, Podevyn became deputy head of the buy side dealing desk, based in Brussels. In this role he was responsible for the ETF request for quote process; the selection and review of counterparties / execution venues; market structure analysis; best execution analysis and reporting; trading software vendor selection and system implementation, among others.
In his new role, effective January, Podevyn will be responsible for buy side equity and ETF trading at the firm
