Equilend, a technology, data and analytics firm, has launched Orbisa securities lending data on the Bloomberg App Portal, providing a dataset comprising US$32 trillion of global lendable equity and fixed income securities.
Bloomberg Terminal users can subscribe to the Orbisa app for a view into all active securities lending markets worldwide, covering a range of securities lending metrics across more than 196,000 individual securities.
Nancy Allen, global head of data and analytics solutions, Equilend, said the partnership will open up its securities lending data and analytics to a broader global community of market participants. “Subscribers will be able to make more informed investment decisions with unprecedented insight into the securities lending market with Orbisa real-time data,” Allen added.
Metrics available include financing rates, borrow demand, short interest indicator, availability, liquidity and “hotness” measurements and dozens more securities lending metrics that provide insights into the securities that make up institutional investors’ portfolios.
