Cboe Europe president Natan Tiefenbrun has been promoted to president, North American and European equities, based in London, UK.
Oliver Sung, based in New York, has been appointed as interim head of North American Equities and will report into Tiefenbrun, who will be closely supporting him and his team.
Sung was previously head of Cboe’s North American execution consulting team, helping to drive business growth and product development alongside Adam Inzirillo.
Inzirillo, who was head of North American equities, has been promoted to global head of data and access solutions.
Tiefenbrun has been with parent firm Cboe Global Markets since June 2021, joining from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he spent more than seven years as managing drector, European execution services.
Tiefenbrun has also had stints at London Stock Exchange, as Head of Products, Equity & Derivative Markets, and at Turquoise, a pan-European trading platform majority owned by LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group).
In 1993, he joined global electronic agency broker Instinet, working across various London-based roles in sales-trading, product development, client service, before leaving the firm as president, responsible for the firm’s European and Asian operations, in 2005.
