SIX has appointed Alexandra Roby to the SIX Swiss Exchange as head of equity sales, effective August 2023.
Based out of London, Roby will manage UK and Irish market participant relationships as well as working to expand the number of buy-side market participants.Tony Shaw, executive director of SIX’s London office, said Roby brings “valuable experience from her time spent on the Electronic Sales Trading desks at two member firms and has an established network of buy side relationships”.
Prior to SIX, Roby was a senior electronic trader at the London arm of German bank Berenberg. She also had a two-year stint at Goldman Sachs as an electronic trader.
Roby replaces Jennifer Hlad, who has held the position at SIX since April 2018.
