As the integration of TD Securities and TD Cowen continues, the firm has promoted the current CEO of Cowen Execution Services to a newly expanded mandate as head of European global markets.Â
Matthew Cyzer, in his newly created role, will be responsible for the client entrenchment of TD Securities’ global markets strategy across products, deepening the firm’s client relationships within the European region.
Cyzer will continue to report to Sharon Kim, regional head for Europe with TD Securities, as well as functionally to Dan Charney and Chris Vogel, co-heads of global markets.
Cyzer currently has a regional team of five traders reporting into him, including two European high touch traders (Carl Dooley, Carl Hayes) and one low touch (Thomas Campbell), along with head of international alternative equity strategies Tarquin Orchard and managing director, business management, Mike Page.
In addition, a number of further roles will now report regionally into Cyzer, although functional reporting lines will remain unchanged. These include Shannon Garber, fixed income trading and sales for Europe & APAC; Brian Perry, FX sales and trading for Europe & APAC; Barry Ward, global equity derivatives; and Lucy Bolton, senior relationshp management.
Cyzer will partner closely with Jason Cope (head of global fixed income), Greg Debienne (head of global FX), Jason Ince (region head of equities, global equity derivatives and alternative strategies) and Justin Boye (head of global client solutions)Â to promote TD Cowen’s global markets businesses in Europe.
Prior to joining TD Cowen, he had extensive experience in driving business expansion in Europe through leadership roles at Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sachs.
